STORY

Kelly and Matt’s relationship is a modern romance, starting in the Fall of 2022.  Their first date was over drinks and s’mores at Campfire, a favorite local restaurant that they regularly frequent for anniversaries and special occasions.  The conversation flowed easily and focused around the cottage in Muskoka and topless rock climbing - you can guess who had more experience with each.

They each ended up in San Diego ready to start the next chapter of their lives. Kelly had visited 34 countries (now 36) and was seeking a new adventure. Matt had decided his years in LA were coming to an end and wanted to be closer to home.

They immediately knew that their connection was special and worth exploring as they began to blend their lives together. Their love blossomed through international trips, moving in together (with Reinke), renovating their condo, snowboarding weekends, and adding Kennedy to their family.

Their relationship eventually culminated to “I do” when Matt got down on one knee at Kelly’s family cottage in Muskoka in the presence of family.

    BEST MAN

    Robert is Matthew’s older brother and close friend.  “Born with a briefcase in his hand,” Robert has served as a trailblazer, mentor, and concert buddy for Matthew over the years.

    They share a special bond and many memories growing up in Southern California with their sister, Liz.

    MATRON OF HONOUR

    Meaghan is Kelly’s younger sister and close friend. The two grew up in Toronto, spending quality time at the family cottage in Muskoka as well as traveling the world.

    They share a love of good wine, making friends, and cheering on the Jays.

    The couple’s nieces and nephews will be a part of the wedding party in a very special way by participating in the ceremony as flower girls and ring bearers.
